If you already know and like the 357 SIG cartridge, then odds are you’re also proficient with the pistol. Remington Golden Saber Bonded ammunition will let you put your rare skillset to good use during a self-defense scenario.
This cartridge is loaded with a 125 grain bonded brass jacketed hollow point. It’s a cop grade bullet, as it’s designed to remain as effective as possible if it has to pass through heavy clothing, wall board or sheet metal.
The BJHP bullet’s solid brass jacket is hot-bonded to its lead core. This process makes the two components nearly inseparable, thus equipping the bullet to remain intact as it passes through barriers and bores deeply into soft tissue. The BJHP bullet even retains up to 97 percent of its weight after piercing auto glass.
The BJHP has spiral cut notches radiating from its nose cavity. These help the jacket break apart evenly while the nose cavity is filling with pressurized soft tissue. It’s Remington’s way of coupling wide terminal expansion with barrier-blind performance.
The BJHP’s narrow nose profile promotes cleaner alignment with the rifling – the secret behind this ammo’s match accuracy. Low-friction nickel-plated brass cases provide smoother feeding and corrosion resistance.
