Many of our customers who are after 357 SIG ammo are cops who learned its ins and outs on the job. You don’t have to waste very much time explaining the importance of high quality self-defense ammo to cops. They already know to look for SIG Sauer’s V-Crown ammunition for their carry weapons.

This round’s 125 grain JHP is engineered to do one thing and do it right. That thing, of course, is to neutralize a target. The V-Crown bullet’s nose cavity reveals a scored lead core, which works in conjunction with a skived jacket to deliver wide, reliable terminal expansion – even at lower velocities. The V-Crown jacket’s toothed cannelure also protrudes into the core itself, locking the two together to allow high weight retention and resultant deep penetration.

This round’s bullet isn’t its only hard-working component. Its case’s nickel plating at once reduces friction to prevent jamming in a semi-auto and prevents gradual corrosion that could eventually compromise functionality. We especially love a self-defense cartridge that is loaded with low flash propellant. It helps keep the 357 SIG (which is already flashy enough as it is) from blinding its shooter at nighttime or in dark rooms.
