This 38 Special +P round sports a premium 125 grain V-Crown jacketed hollow point bullet. The V-Crown’s nose cavity extends far deeper than you can tell merely by looking at it, and its alloyed lead core sports six symmetrical cuts that enable it to open up nice and wide throughout penetration. The V-Crown’s jacket is additionally skived to promote faster, more uniform expansion.

The V-Crown retains its weight well to facilitate deeper penetration. In addition to preventing bullet setback in the cylinder, its deep-set toothed cannelure embeds its jacket to its core to keep the two from splintering apart as the bullet tunnels through soft tissue.

This round’s brass case is Ducta-Bright 7a Nickel plated. This enhances its lubricity for faster extraction, as well as guards it against gradual corrosion as you carry it around for several months on end. This nickel application further reduces the chances of cracks forming during ignition, suiting the case better for subsequent handloading.

This is +P ammunition. Please make certain your revolver is rated to handle overpressure ammo before running these cartridges through it.
