Tula’s on a mission to save you money! This 380 ACP ammunition is loaded with solid steel cases, so it contains significantly less copper than brass-cased but otherwise comparable range ammo. Less copper means less expensive ammo!
If you’re remotely familiar with steel-cased ammo, then you know it is typically loaded with magnetic bullets (i.e. bullets which have steel jackets that will attract a magnet). But this ammo’s 95 grain full metal jacket projectiles have lead cores and brass jackets that cannot attract a magnet! If your range frowns on magnetic ammo, then Tula’s range-friendly 380 rounds will meet their standards.
Tula’s steel cases are zinc-plated for enhanced corrosion resistance and smoother functionality in a semi-automatic. This is Berdan-primed ammo. While you would never under any circumstances wish to attempt reloading it, it is still completely non-corrosive and will not rust your handgun.
