This 2-1/2” shell is A-OK for Judges, Governors, and other any other handguns that can chamber it. You’d need a shotgun-length barrel to get that advertised 1,200 fps muzzle velocity, though. In any event, ignition is poised to hurl all of about 113 pieces of lead at the target.
The #6 shot pellet’s a tad larger than what people usually prefer for trap and such. But it gets the job done, and is a must-have for target practice if it’s the same size you prefer for upland game hunting (and there’s no chance this particular ammo can’t drop a squirrel or rabbit, either).
Rio ammunition is loaded with good components – hard lead shot for its price tag, and hulls that behave themselves in all sorts of chambers. Rio’s primers and powder are both very high quality, as the brand belongs to one of the world’s largest explosives companies.
