Premium #8 shot. It’s made of high-antimony lead, which makes the pellets hard enough to undergo supersonic acceleration without flattening down, becoming less aerodynamic, and losing their ability to pattern narrowly. This shell’s wad does flatten down during ignition, however, which helps to prevent sudden recoil impulse from jerking and deforming the shot column. Not to suggest that the 410 Bore is known for its stout recoil, but its collapsing wad also makes this shell even gentler to fire.
Browning gives these rounds smooth hulls which reduce friction to ensure more reliable ejection. Once you’ve tied a ribbon around your round of trap, skeet or sporting clays, you’ll be able to load these rounds’ high-quality hulls right back up again!
