This is a shorter 410 Bore shell: a two-and-a-half incher, which holds a half-ounce of shot. But it is still pretty powerful in spite of its size, with a 1,275 fps muzzle velocity that gives it a max dram equivalent. Its little #9 shot pellets also means it can put over 290 holes through something. Land even a portion of this shell’s payload on a clay, and that’ll be the end of its days.
STS lead is nice and hard, which is how this shell manages to deliver such a tight pattern at close-to-medium range. And thanks to its length, you can get great target-shooting action out of a Judge or a Governor, too. Great value all around – the advantage you gain by going with Remington!
