The box may say “Spherical Bullet,” but that just means old-fashioned buckshot. This round has room for three pieces of triple-aught. It’s a step up in size from conventional double-aught (exactly 0.03” wider, and about 30% heavier), and hits a lot harder at close range (252 ft lbs muzzle energy, as opposed to ~186 ft lbs when muzzle velocity equals 1,247 fps). These are all numeric allusions to the main point we’re trying to make: triple-aught’s powerful.
But it’s not too powerful for a Judge or a Governer. Choose this ammo if you’re trying to really cook with your 410/45 wheelgun! Sellier & Bellot’s Czech-made shotshells are first-rate, and frequently implemented by law enforcement agencies worldwide (the 12 Gauge, specifically; cops have little use for 410).
