Introduced at the 2010 Shot Show, Winchester's PDX1 410 bore shot shell is at the cutting edge of defense technology. This personal defense load was designed for the popular Taurus Judge which has quickly become a favorite defense weapon for personal defense.

The PDX1 410-gauge Supreme Elite features three plated Defense Disc projectiles over 12 pellets of plated BB shot. This design results in a tight grouping of the 3 hard hitting discs followed up with a resounding shot blast. The BB's cast a fairly wide spread around the tightly grouped discs increasing the chance of inflicting damage on any intruder to your home.

Used off grid and the spray was huge. Great demonstration to use in the Judge. They did start to stick after a few rounds. Great price.

The summary says it all. I travel all over with my Judge and this is the ammo I always use. It wont take the couple having a tryst in the next hotel room if I have to shoot a intruder in mine. At this price its NOT range ammo but you cant go wrong trusting your life to it.

This ammo is a good performer. Throws a nice pattern at 15 feet. I load it in my S&W Governor for home defense, as living in an apartment, I do not wish to perforate my neighbors in the next building when firing at a bad guy !!

I've fired these a number of times and I have to say they are SO COOL. I could give a gun with these shells to my kid and he wouldnt miss with the spray the thing makes. Provides and interesting visual when shooting at paper targets too. You can clearly see a halo of BBs and three discs in the middle

took these bad boys to the range to 'test' in my Judge.... very accurate...very effective pattern... from 5 yds to 10 yds. Should be a very effective personal defense round, should I ever need it. Kinda expensive to take to the range, but its performance makes it worth ever nickel in a self defense situation.
