If you're a minimalist boar and deer hunter but don't want to be under-gunned with anemic ammunition, then these Remington "Slugger" rifled slugs are the perfect match to your .410 shotgun and steady aim. Remington has refined their slug technology over time in order to increase accuracy and flat trajectory which is necessary when taking big pigs at 50 yards or under with a .410 shotgun. Independent testing has shown these slugs be capable of 2-3 inch five-shot groups at fifty yards when fired from a 24-inch smooth cylinder bore barrel. While the slugs are rifled and meant to be used in conjunction with smoothbore barrels, they can be safely fired from rifled barrels and chokes.
Remington constructs these slugs with a flat nose which makes for a balance between penetration and expansion of exposed lead with the .410 Bore. These slugs can be expected to retain weight very well on impact with minimal separation.

Q: Will this fit my Taurus judge 3 inch shells didn't fit
Posted On: 7/18/2021
By: Darren Solo
A: Thanks for reaching out Darren! The Judge is available with 2.5" or 3" chambers. Judging from the past, it sounds like your revolver has 2.5" chambers, so this ammo should work great.
Q: Can`t find 45 long colt ammo anywhere, Is it possible for the 410 rifled slugs to have the same effect or better as the 45 long colt?

By: John Ring
A: Thanks for reaching out John! You're probably not going to get the same degree of accuracy with a 410 Bore slug as you would 45 Long Colt, but make no mistake: at close range, a 1/5 ounce rifled slug is going absolutely to wreck a target.
Q: I have a judge that shoots both 410 and 45 longs. It is chambered for 3" mag shells. Is it ok to shoot 2 1/2 slugs?
Posted On: 7/11/2021
By: John Ring
A: Yes sir, your revolver's 3" chambers are indeed compatible with 2-1/2" slugs.
Q: Have these been discontinued now that Remington is out of business?
Posted On: 7/5/2021
A: No sir. Vista Outdoor (which also owns Speer, CCI and Federal Premium) acquired Remington's ammo business in 2020. There's no end in sight for Remington ammo
Q: I have a Circuit Judge shoots 410 and 45 long Colts. I'm not sure of what grain to buy for the 410 slug? I believe I can change the choke out to shoot bird shot 410s as well. I used to buy the split boxes of ammo had 410s and 45s in them can't find them anymore where i now live. Just want to be correct while using this gun? Anybody know or could tell me what I should be using?

By: Jeffrey Del Priore
A: Hi Jeffrey. Your Circuit Judge will shoot any weight slug you can buy. Typically those are only available in a couple of weights and either will work. There is no need to change the choke out to go from a slug to bird shot unless you want a full choke on the shot. Give me a shout if you have further questions. Ross 800-317-9506
