These surplus Malaysian 7.62x51mm NATO rounds were manufactured in the late 1970s and have survived all this time due to select components and protective packaging. As part of a late, foreign production following L2A2 designation, these cartridges feature annealed brass casings that have been heat-treated at the neck and shoulder for flexibility which offers safe, consistent chamber pressures. Each case is equipped with a non-corrosive Berdan primer which is staked in for dependable operation and adorned with moisture-blocking sealant to protect the round's powder over time.

The load is topped off with a 146-grain full metal jacket (FMJ) projectile which is of medium weight for the caliber and matches numerous training, combat, match, and hunting loads in both 7.62x51mm and .308 Winchester. The FMJ feeds well in semi-automatic rifles as well as bolt-action builds but does feature a bimetal jacket which is magnetic and may not be permitted at some indoor ranges. Each 300-round bulk pack comes sealed away within a military storage can of the .30 caliber variety. The can is made of durable steel and features a locking latch and carry handle for easy transport as well as rubber gasket on the inside of its lid; this material protects the ammo inside from the elements. Multiple cans are easily capable of vertical stacking for rainy day storage.
