Ain’t no party like a Commie Bloc party!

This 7.62x54r cartridge was manufactured by Soviet Russia some time in the 1980s, so it has missed out on its chance to help spread the virtues of communism. Fortunately it now has a much grander purpose – your shooting pleasure!

This round is outfitted with a 148 grain full metal jacket projectile. Its core is made of lead encased steel, and its jacket is made of steel that is copper washed for the preservation of your bore’s riflings. In short, if your range has banned magnetic projectiles, they’re going to have a conniption fit if you try to fire this round there.

This milsurp cartridge has a steel casing, which Russia favors for its economical design and deterrence of handloading. (It’s good to know just how much ammo your populace has at any given time, comrade.) Its primer is the old-fashioned Berdan variety, which is corrosive and will require cleaning with Ballistol or Windex after the fact.

Please note! This 7.62x54r cartridge is for Mosin-Nagant and other compatible rifles. It is not to be confused with 7.62x39 AK-47 or 7.62x25 Tokarev ammunition.
