This 9x19mm ammunition from Military Ballistics Industries mimics some of the features found in premium defense ammo at a fraction of the cost. These rounds use 147 grain jacketed hollow-point (JHP) projectiles which are heavy for the caliber and preferred by many 9mm shooters for increased penetration as well as subsonic muzzle velocity when used with a suppressor.

The JHP bullets loaded in these rounds expand on impact and greatly improve terminal ballistic effects by nearly doubling their size and creating larger wound cavities in tissue. That, combined with a smaller chance of exit wounds and collateral damage, makes these rounds great for carry and home defense. In addition the new brass casings, fitted with non-corrosive Boxer primers, are nickel-plated for low friction, corrosion-resistance and reliable cycling.
