This is 9mm +P+ ammunition. It is not intended for firearms that aren’t designed to handle its ferocious chamber pressure. Underwood specifically recommends against firing it through aftermarket SIG P365 barrels.

Woof. That’s a powerful cartridge: 115 grain bullet, 1,300 fps muzzle velocity, which means its striking energy can easily be as high as a 40 S&W’s. And that’s not the only reason why you wouldn’t want to get shot by it. Lehigh Defense’s solid copper Xtreme Penetrator bullet lacks a hollow point that could have jammed up with debris; indeed, it averts terminal expansion altogether. Instead it exploits hydraulic energy to force the infliction of cavernous permanent and temporary wound cavities. You might use the lead-free bullet for hunting as well.

This ammo’s nickel-plated brass cases will resist corrosion from humidity, sweat, and tanning chemicals, and they also reduce friction to facilitate surer operation of a semi-automatic. Underwood’s flash-suppressed powder doesn’t necessarily negate muzzle flash altogether, though it does reduce the shooter’s exposure to blinding light in the nighttime.
