Safety is never guaranteed. All you can do is minimize risk: lock your doors at night, avoid rough neighborhoods, and keep good ammo in your magazine. We don’t sell locks. We don’t have crime maps. But we do have Sig Sauer’s Elite Performance 9mm ammo in stock.

This cartridge’s 115 grain bullet and just barely supersonic 1,185 fps muzzle velocity team up to deliver reduced recoil. The lighter bullet may not penetrate a threat as deeply, but you may experience greater ease directing rapid fire with less kick to throw off your aim.

The bullet is Sig Sauer’s own V-Crown. It is a jacketed hollow point with a skived jacket and symmetrically scored nose cavity. These features strategically weaken the V-Crown to help it expand wide and uniformly at lower velocities. The V-Crown’s cannelure embeds its jacket to its core, which prevents the bullet from losing momentum due to core/jacket separation.

Sig has loaded this ammo with low-flash propellant. Dimmer muzzle flash will help keep your eyes adjusted to a dark environment after you have fired your first shot – crucial, when you don’t want to lose sight of the target. Nickel-plated brass cases are still reloadable, but they also provide better resistance to corrosion and create less friction while they cycle through a semi-auto. Made in the USA!
