A: Not at all! There are two primary contributing factors: the pandemic and the civil unrest. Both led to a lot of stockpiling of ammo, as well as a massive wave of first-time gun buyers. On top of that, the pandemic did complicate supply chains and slow down production and shipment times. Ammo manufacturers are doing all they can to keep up with surging demand, but at the end of the day they are only set up to produce so much ammo. So while the ammo shortage may be disheartening at the moment, the good we can take from it is that A LOT more Americans now own firearms – so hopefully we have gained a lot of new pro-gun allies for the future.
