First of all, please be certain that this 9mm +P ammo is not actually good for hunting grizzly bears.

Grizzly Cartridge Company is based in Oregon, where they produce the components they need to load consistent, reliable ammunition. Whether you’ve just bought your first Glock or have already built up a small arsenal of handguns, then Grizzly’s 9mm +P ammo belongs in your home!

This ammo will serve you just fine for target practice, but its JHP bullet is really designed for self-defense. As it penetrates soft tissue (the stuff we are made of), hydrostatic pressure will force this round’s 124 grain bullet to open up. That allows the bullet to exert its energy outward whilst simultaneously expanding, creating significant cavitation and a gaping wound cavity in the process.

Grizzly loads traditional brass cases and non-corrosive Boxer primers, making any of their ammo a fine investment for the forward-thinking handloader. Most modern 9mm handguns are also designed for 9mm +P, but please make sure your weapon can handle hotter loads before ordering. (Hit us up in the Q&A if you need help!)
