Good 380 when 9mm is not an alternative
Review by Joe
Works flow less in a BG2. LG tests shows it’s a great alternative if your carry gun is a 380. Only shoot once, and for some reason hitting low. Will do some more tests soon, and will have son shoot to see if it’s me. Love LG articles and tests.

Top choice for self defense ammo
Review by Gatekeeper32
I’ve been using this ammo for years and it is the measure of all defensive handgun loads. Expands reliably and retains its jacket through barriers due to being bonded .

Perfect for self defense

This is the ammunition that I will always use for self-defense. Always reliable when testing or cycling inventory. I know i can rely on this ammo in the event that I need to defend myself or my family.

Good all around
Review by JtAlmond
Ive ran a lot of 380 fmj and select JHP to break in my new BG 2.0. The gun never choked or sputtered on any round i fed it.
I settled in with the TMJ Lawman because it is from a known quality tound that is consistent from shot to shot. I use this as my carry round. i always check out what’s behind my target so over penetration is a moot point. An overprnetrative round is apt to plug a co-conspirator.

Love the idea of minimizing shooting vapors, especially those of lead
Review by MadCityJack
I bought my wife a thousand rounds in .380 and she handled it well with her Sig with compensator. I shot a few boxes of 9mm in both my Sig 365 and Glock 19; did a fine job of putting holes in paper. Quite accurate. I really didn't do a direct comparison with my usual Sellier and Bellot FMJ range ammo, but it didn't seem to have any significantly greater recoil. I don't know if the TMJ actually smell better than "regular" range ammo, but I thought so. However, they shoot great, and reduced lead exposure is always a good thing. I'll save my remaining Sellier & Bellot ammo for an outdoor range.

Best price I’ve seen anywhere

It’s very hard to find 50 round boxes of .380 hollow points in general, and Speer gold dot in particular. I bought 3 boxes and in retrospect, for what I paid, I should have bought 500 rounds

It's good and it sucks ...
Review by SemiRetiredLE
This is my current duty round. It is not as good as Gen1 Gold Dot. The cavity is shallower and the round is mot the most reliable when it comes to expansion. It is down right unreliable with anything other than full length barrels. 4 inch or less use HST or Gen 1 Hold Dot

Totally trustworthy ammo
Review by fearless
Excellent ammo for home defence and range. Reliable. Consistent. Powerful. Clean. Worth the cost. Shot from a 30 ounce solid steel revolver with rubber grips : recoil was not a problem. [2 " inch barrel]. If I lived closer to the shipping point (live in Oregon ; ammo shipped from Atlanta, GA) I would buy more. Ground shippers between Atlanta and southern Oregon are brutal on ammo. But, ammo wrapped with care, sent quickly, Lucky Gunner is excellent company. Trust them.
