These bullets are manufactured according to the same process as Berry’s widely acclaimed Superior Plated Bullets. Each projectile begins as a swaged lead core. After it is electroplated with copper, the bullet is restruck to create a precision hollow point nose cavity. The Hybrid HP exhibits optimal terminal expansion and weight retention when loaded correctly!
This bullet’s OAL is 0.538". Berry’s recommended 9mm OAL is 1.090", with a muzzle velocity between 1,050 fps and 1,150 fps. Berry’s also recommends using a round nose seating stem while loading Hybrid HP bullets. Cast and jacketed loading data for analogous bullets are both applicable to Berry’s Hybrid HP bullets.
