Just like all mags which come with brand new 9mm Glock pistols, this mag is composed of a hard steel tube with a protective polymer shell. Glock mags are famously durable, so you don’t have to worry if you let this mag drop free all the way to the ground.
Glock outfits each of their mags with a stainless steel spring, as well as a smooth-feeding and highly visible orange follower. This mag has numbered holes running down its spine to inform you of how many shots you have remaining – and you will often have many shots remaining when you are firing from a 33-round capacity mag. Such a long spring may be stiff when it is brand new. A little breaking in at the target range will solve that!
