It is made out of soft nylon, with supple foam padding that will absorb shock and impact before it can reach your firearm. The case accommodates a scope beautifully. Its narrowing end protects a barrel without flopping around as you carry the case by its wraparound nylon web handles. The case’s convenient design keeps the weight of your rifle from bearing against the steel zipper.

This rifle case is 47” long on the outside. It is designed to secure a 44” rifle.

What a deal, especially at this price. I truly wish I had bought 1 or 2 more. While shipping is not cheap if you get enough items the price is reasonable.
As for the Rifle Case, it has thick, sturdy padding with a soft material inside and a tuff nylon outside which should stand up to the riggers of the range and field. The handles are about an inch wide, double thick nylon without padding. Best of all, the case has loops on each end of the case from which to hang the case to dry, store, etc. This case easily fits all my .22 rifles even those with scopes as well as my Bolt action rifles. This case will fit an AR 15 only if it does not have optics attached. It will not, as I hope you would expect, fit an AR rifle with any optics. This is a sturdy & extremely affordable rifle case that should last a long time. Don't do what I did and buy only one. You too will regret that decision.
