Details
The Core-Lokt bullet design is the original controlled-expansion bullet – and one of the most effective ever developed. Its progressively tapered copper jacket is locked to a solid lead core, promoting perfectly controlled expansion and high weight retention for absolutely dependable on-game results.
The "PSP" or Pointed Soft Point version of the Core-Lokt bullet design features a Spitzer shape profile for improved velocity and flatter trajectory. Bullet cores are mechanically locked in place to provide deep penetration. Jackets designed for progressive, reliable expansion to almost twice the original diameter.

- reminton 150 grain core-lokt bullets Review by al

I never had any problems with 150 grain Core-Lokt bringing down a deer with a accurate shot I would suggest that 'Critter' shoot his deer in the head or neck where the spinal cord would be. they go down every time and you don't destroy any meat. an old favorite for non hunting activities. (Posted on 1/16/11)Performance Value Quality - too thick Review by Critter

While this ammo is very accurate, particularly in its price range, the bullet jackets are too thick to expand at all on deer size game, from any angle. I know that these are rather "all around" bullets, but they might work better on moose or bear. (Posted on 6/11/10)Quality Performance Value - great Review by jg
