Details
This ammunition is both economical and reliable and is backed by the reputation of a well-established brand. It is manufactured in the United States by CCI, a subsidiary of ATK, the largest ammunition manufacturer in the United States.
While aluminum casings are not recommended for reloading, the ammunition provides great value in that it performs comparably to brass-cased ammunition but at a lesser cost.

I was a bit curious about this ammo, as I am used to brass casings, but it worked very well for the money. I see where many people have clammed that they stuck in the cylinders, and this did NOT happen to me, although I had a couple that did not slide as easy as the others did, leading me to believe that it could stick. I have a new (bought the gun eight years ago new in the box, Colt Trooper V with 4" barrel that I have only shot three boxes through since new, and this was the third one) Colt and everything worked great, but the power of the load, and the damage it done was not as great as the other high-end stuff from DT or Buffalo, but I am an avid target and watermellon shooter, and this is GREAT for me. I use there ammo for 80% of my shooting needs with NO PROBLEMS. Thanks Blazer (Posted on 6/28/12)Quality Performance Value - Do what they're supposed to Review by Jim

Good target rounds, didn't have any fail to fire, and none got stuck in the cylinder.. good price for what they are.. S&W M&P 340 revolver (Posted on 3/19/12)Performance Value Quality - Rounds Hang-up Review by Gunrunner

Not a bad practice round, but the chambers have to be completely clean. Just the slightest amount of carbon build up will result in some rounds being difficult to extract. I would imagine if the chambers are not completely smooth, you will run into extraction problems. (Posted on 12/18/11)Performance Value Quality - First 357 Mag Purchase Review by jander9116

I have always shot .38 specials in my Reuger 357 Mag and this was the first time I purchased 357 Mag shells. I was dissapointed that they did not fit very well in the chambers. I had to go through the box to find shells that would fit. about 25% of the 50 shells were too large to fit. The shells that did fit worked very well and I was pleased with the performance. Excellent ammo for range shooting. Very good product and price. (Posted on 7/10/11)Quality Performance Value - Great practice rounds, but casings swell in use Review by CoachDB

This is reliable ammunition, but fired this ammo at the range in my Taurus 617 revolver and found the aluminum casings swell enough that the extractor won't completely dump spent cartridges (have to finish pulling the casings from the cylinder out one at a time by hand), so may want to consider this if speed loading is a necessity. I am very pleased with my purchase from Lucky Gunner recently. I have not fired any of this ammo as of yet so I can't speak of the performance, but I am confident that it is just right for my purposes. Lucky Gunner responded very fast on my order.Great communications. (Posted on 12/4/10)Quality Performance Value - cci jhp 158 grain Review by superchryslerlover
