Details
The Core-Lokt bullet design is the original controlled-expansion bullet – and one of the most effective ever developed. Its progressively tapered copper jacket is locked to a solid lead core, promoting perfectly controlled expansion and high weight retention for absolutely dependable on-game results.
The "PSP" or Pointed Soft Point version of the Core-Lokt bullet design features a Spitzer shape profile for improved velocity and flatter trajectory. Bullet cores are mechanically locked in place to provide deep penetration. Jackets designed for progressive, reliable expansion to almost twice the original diameter.

Ok, Ok, so CoreLokt PSP ammo isn't gonna gain you cool points at the range or around the campfire. It's not some exotic polymer tipped, teflon coated space age chemical coated bullet but it plain works.Performance Value Quality
I initially tried a higher priced exotic ammo through my 700XCR 7mm RemMag and it performed very well but it was costing more than 2bucks per shot. I decided to try this out before an antelope hunt in Wyoming and was putting it within 1.4 inches at 200yds. First shot at an antelope was 432yds and put it right through the heart and lungs. Animal dropped where it stood and the bullet still had enough power to pass right through(exit hole was as big as my fist). I've got meat in the freezer because this bullet worked exactly like it was supposed to.
If you want to spend more for ammo go ahead but this product will do anything you want it to do. I will trust it for the rest of my hunting life. (Posted on 2/25/12)
