Sure is fun when you can afford it. I came to Lucky's from Jeff Quinn at Gunblasts recommendation.

I tested these cartridges in my S&W M&P 15-22, and the very first thing I noticed was that the inside of the box and every cartridge was coated in some kind of wax. This made loading magazines a little messy, however they did load fine. Shooting 300 rounds, I had 3 failures to feed (one time the magazine was gummed up and took a tool to clear up), 2 failures to fire, but every fired cartridge was pretty accurate. Each of the magazine I loaded with this ammo needed to be cleaned off. As such, it's not a bad deal for plinking ammo, but not something I would use regularly if I had another alternative at a similar price (I like the Federal Champion CPHP for plinking or CCIs Mini-Mags for precision). This is the best ammo I have shot through my MP5 with no problems, have to adjust my bolt with other ammo from the factory setting. . My not be copper jacketed, but it grouped better and cycles very well through semi-auto,( NEVER A MISS FEED) especially through tactical .22LR's. This ammo keeps me at the range all day. Love the stopping power of my other larger cal's, can't stop shooting my H&K MP5 with this ammo! Great ammo for semi-gas feed .22LR's. Every round of Blazer I have fired through my semi-auto has cycled properly, and that is a few thousand! (Posted on 6/24/12)

This is made by AMMUNITION ACCESSORIES INC., CCI/SPEER in Lewiston, ID. It is a very similar round to the CCI SV and to the CCI Mini-Mag. The maker of my 22LR High Standard pistol, advised me to use only CCI standard velocity ammo. Nevertheless, I bought and used a few hundred rounds each of BLAZER, CCI SV and CCI Mini-Mag. I am not aware of any performance differences between them. The CCI brand has a copper jacketed bullet, while the BLAZER brand has a (less expensive) soft lead bullet. The BLAZER is a great value, especially if purchased from Lucky Gunner! (Posted on 5/29/12)

I have used this ammo for years and it has always served me well in every .22LR that I own. It even works great with both of my Beretta 21A's as well as my new Taurus PT22 Poly. Shoots straight with consistent velocities. Colt 22 conversions not a problem. I wish they made Blazer hollow points. (Posted on 5/26/12)

I shoot about 250-300 rounds through it at a time, so I can't say if it would start to have problems if you continued to put more rounds through it without a quick going over and general cleaning. I have shot this ammo through all types of firearms. Bolt actions, lever actions, and semi auto rifles and pistols. It has worked great and never had a major problem with the ammo. Accuracy is nothing to worry about. Works great on paper targets as well as steel targets. (Posted on 3/13/12)

I have used Blazer ammo in 40 sw & 9mm and have never had FTF or fouling of my pistols .My 40 is a Sig 229 the9mm is a sig 239 This is the best ammo for target that is why I bought it in 22LR. I Just recived 2 boxes of this ammo and went to the range for a day of shooting. With my new mark 2 savage rifle. when i opened the box what i found was the stickyest gooy mess of 22lr i had ever seen.!!!! After 15 round it started to stick in the barrel and would not eject. even wipeing them on my jeans did not help.I forgot my towels.. So when i got home. I washed them in dawn soap this helped a little but spent the next hour and a half wipeing each bullet by hand to get the crap!!!! off. not the best day at the range. I still have 1 box unopened to clean or send back. Even the russian ammo i have used over the years was NEVER this dirty.. Now in all fairness the bulk reloed that i bought was awsome in 9mm and 40 but this blazer is %$&^%$$ stuff. Buyer berware . ps what i got to shoot seemed acurate but not worth the work to clean. This is the only bulk ammo I'll shoot out of my 22lr Bersa and Tanfoglio semi-auto pistols. Tried a lot of other brands and had lots of malfunctions. Blazer has been flawless in my guns. Great practice/range ammo at a reasonable price. Only gave 4 stars for quality because it doesn't shoot as clean as Mini-Mags and Velocitors. Keep my .22lr pistols loaded at home with CCI Velocitor HP's - another great round. (Posted on 11/4/11)

Flawless bulk ammo. Works in my revolvers, Mark III Standard and with my Henry Frontier rifle w/ Octogon barrel. Doess what I expect and paid for. It's accurate, feeds untiringly, ejects with authority and lastly, but most important; it goes bang, bang, bang as expected and as we gun enthusiasts expect. Fair price and great performance; a combination hard to beat.
