Not having a chronograph, my observation are limited to accuracy and reliability as shot through my Glock 36. My second through fifth 5 shot groups, seven yards with a Martin stance where all within the nine ring. One group was all ten. No FTF and no FTF in 150 rounds. With the expansion and penetration data that I've researched, I have all the confidence with this ammo. (Posted on 5/20/13)

These maintain velocity in a compact 45 better than other rounds. I chronographed numerous 45 factory hollow points through a compact 45 with a 3.5" barrel, as well as a standard 1911. Average velocity in the 1911with the 185g GS (non +P) was 1015 fps. Through the compact the average velocity was 978fps. There were no FTF's or FTE's of any kind. There was very little deviation in round to round velocity. Another good round for a compact 45 is the 200gr Gold Dot, if you want a little more weight and newer technology. (Posted on 4/14/13)

Anyone who has a 1911 has probably heard that ball ammo works best. I bought a lot of the GS rounds and did experience some pretty frequent fail-to-loads. It was excessive and could be less than other hollow points, but just something to consider. Otherwise this is superior performance and quality ammo at an incredible price. (Posted on 7/10/10)

these are great rounds for the money. I was a hydro-shok lover until I used these. They feed well in my pistol, low recoil, and are accurate. Plus, they are less expensive. They run about $1 per bullet. Other rounds run almost $2 a round, especially after shipping. I will buy these. (Posted on 6/3/10)
