I have a Kimber Custom II and a Ruger SR1911 both 5" gov't modles in 10mm. This ammo is very accurate in both my pistols, especially the Kimber often giving 2" groups at 30 yards. It is great for the range, and very reliable. It may even be good for hunting. Watch " Paul Harrel's" review on 10mm ammo. He shows where this ammo not only penetrates very deep, but because of the wide meplat of the bullet, it deforms and flattens out somewhat to do quite a bit of damage in his meat target. Pretty good all around ammo for your 10mm for carry around the farm, hunting blind, and maybe self defence ? You be the judge. Lol.
As far as punching holes, this stuff is great. It is hotter than other 10mm range ammo I've tried. It feels like a real 10mm, as opposed to a hot .40. The brass is great, too. It comes out in a lot better shape than others; in particular Armscor. Their brass is thin and gets split easily. The price is steep, but you're paying for Remington quality. I recommend it, but it would be nice if it was cheaper.
surprisingly well made and stout
I was pleasantly surprised with this load. It is hotter than the Armscor but not punishing. Great brass and no ftf/FTE. If you want something that is not punishing but a bit hotter than Armscor for range use this will work. BTW the Armscor is fine but it is a very light load compared to full load 10mm. Makes good range fodder too and only had one FTE on that. Don't expect Double Tap loads with these two loads. They are great for break in and range sessions.
I fired 200 rounds of this through my Gen 4 G21. I only had one failure to feed but that may have been attributed to the magazine. Otherwise, the ammo functions and is decent for range practice. It's definitely not full power but good enough for punching holes through paper. And for 10mm, it's a decent price. I wouldn't hesitate to buy more for the range.
