This 12 Gauge shotshell by Fiocchi is loaded with nine pellets of 00 buckshot. The .33” diameter pellets are molded from hardened lead, so they will resist deformation in the barrel in order to provide a tight, hard-hitting pattern as they exit the muzzle at a velocity of 1,325 fps. The impact of that fast muzzle velocity is softened substantially by this shell’s special wad, which collapses upon firing so that it absorbs some of that great force rather than letting it all fall on your shoulder.
