Double-aught buckshot? Not here, pal! This ammunition is for appreciators of smaller #1 buckshot, such as:
• Hunters who bag whitetail and boar at close range
• Home defenders who want decreased risk of over-penetration
• Stockpilers, who are preparing themselves to hunt and defend

Here’s the difference. A 00 buck pellet is 0.33” in diameter and weighs ~53.8 grains. A #1 buck pellet? It’s 0.30” in diameter, and ~40.5 grains. Numero uno’s smaller size is why this shell can fit way more pellets: 16, instead of the eight or nine that are usual for a 12 Gauge 2-3/4” hull. Because it is relatively lighter, an individual #1 buck pellet also strikes with relatively less force, and has a lower chance of tearing a path clean through its target as well.

This shell’s shot is stacked alongside buffering. They’re little plastic granules; supple, which is how they absorb recoil that would otherwise have flattened the shot. Round shot patterns more tightly and strikes more energetically. Both welcome advantages to have, regardless of your plans for your shotgun!
