Have you seen turkey prices lately? I haven’t, because I have not entered a grocery store since my wife asked me to pick up birthday candles in 1986, but I assume that like prices for everything else they have become egregious.

Do what Americans do best. Take matters into your own hands, and get some yourself some free turkey with the help of Remington Express XLR 12 Gauge ammunition.

This shell is loaded with #4 shot, which is a fine size for harvesting toms plus other larger upland game, such as pheasants and similarly sized chickeny types. Don’t use it for duck hunting! Lead shot’s not allowed for that.

Remington spends all due care to form consistently spherical pellets. They also make them hard, which is the second thing shot pellets have to be in order to to attain tight, effective formation. Its larger shot and hotter muzzle velocity give this ammo excellent downrange performance (hence the “XLR,” which stands for “Extra Long Range” despite “Extra” not starting with “X”).

Remington is allowed to form acronyms however they please. Crummy hulls are never permissible, however, which is why these shells are outfitted with high brass heads in addition to reliable primers and fast-burning powder.
