This round overwhelms small upland birds with its massive 1-1/4 ounce column of #8 shot. That’s 1/8 ounces more shot than a target shell is allowed to have, which means you’ll unload about 50 additional 0.09” diameter shot pellets at your target.

Estate casts each Heavy Game Load shell’s shot out of extra hard lead, which contains additional antimony that prevents significant deformation. The rigid shot pellets retain their sphericity during ignition to promote a denser pattern, and also plow deeper into soft tissue as they avoid flattening down. Very deadly, as far as any quail is concerned.

This ammo is loaded in the great state of Minnesota with smooth-cycling and repeatedly reloadable plastic hulls, tight-patterning wads, highly dependable non-corrosive primers, and consistent payloads of low-residue powder.
