Winchester’s USA VALOR line of ammunition used to only include the same types of ammo our own troops would fire during combat. This 12 Gauge shotshell changes all of that, because we highly doubt the United States Marine Corps has very much use for trap, skeet and sporting clays ammo.

It’s good target ammo, though! Every shell packs 1-1/8 ounces of #7.5 lead shot, each pellet of which is spherical enough to stay part of a tight pattern and made of hard enough lead to stay that way. The wad’s hinged design allows it to sponge up recoil energy before it can deform the shot. And between its collapsing wad and reasonable 1,200 fps muzzle velocity, this shell simply isn’t equipped to jolt your shoulder with very much kick.

This reloadable ammo’s patriotic branding isn’t just a marketing gimmick.
