This shell’s #8 lead shot suits it for all breeds of clay shooting. Remington’s Gun Club Grade Shot has a lower antimony content than the shot you would find in a higher-grade Nitro 27 shell, although it is still plenty effective within 30 yards and with an appropriate choke. Even if you have no idea what chokes are, this ammo will still let you play a fine round of trap.
This ammo does feature a couple of choice high-grade components: the Premier STS primer, which is formulated to reduce shot-to-shot velocity variations, and the Power Piston wad, which compresses to absorb recoil energy, reduce shot deformation, and promote more reliable gas sealing. All in a reloadable low-cap hull!
