Sometimes manufacturers put a very American-sounding name on their foreign-made ammo. Stars and Stripes is a prime example. It’s made by Cheedite, an Italian company that has been around since 1901. It’s good stuff, and it’s yours by the case if you want it. And you do want it, because it’s good stuff!*
This shell can do anything #7.5 shot is capable of. The single ounce (350 pellets) of shot can turn a clay into little bits, or force a beaked critter to feel the full effect of gravity. If you see a rabbit that is badly in need of being eaten by you, then this shell will help it along to your stew pot. Maybe make sure to remove the shot pellets before cooking, seeing as how they’re made of lead and all.
Cheddite makes all their own components in-house: shot, primers, powder, wads, and hulls. The tubes may be either red or white in color, which means they’re a guaranteed match with your Christmas decorations.
