This is a low-recoil shell, even if it’s not marketed as such. One ounce of #7.5 lead shot is light for a 12 Gauge target load, and its 1,150 fps muzzle velocity is just barely faster than the speed of sound. Winchester’s hinged wad collapses during ignition to subtract a good deal of what little recoil energy this shell does produce, after which it proceeds to promote a faster in-flight velocity and tight pattern.
Winchester loads their budget-friendly target loads with consistent primers and clean-burning powder, as well as the hulls handloaders like stuffing into their pockets. Enjoy great performance while avoiding the fatigue which makes prolonged play difficult!
