This 12 Gauge shell is packed with a lighter, single-ounce column of shot. That alongside its slower 1,200 fps muzzle velocity means you’re signing up for very little recoil – perfect, if you want to prevent fatigue during a prolonged hunt or like avoiding very much of the muzzle rise which complicates follow-up shots.
This shell’s shot pellets are made of pure, non-toxic steel. As #7 shot the pellets are a little wider in diameter than the #7.5 typically used for dove hunting. That helps to compensate for steel’s lower density than lead.
Fiocchi’s long plastic shot cup separates this shell’s abrasive shot from the bore. Their non-corrosive primers and clean-burning powder also help to preserve a shotgun. These American-made shotshells are reloadable.
