Varmint Hunting
You can’t reason with varmints. They’re … unreasonable. But you can shoot them until the cows come home when you stock up on Hornady’s Varmint Express 12 Gauge ammunition.
This shell isn’t loaded with #4 shot like you’d want for turkey, or maybe pheasant. It’s loaded with #4 buckshot, which is much larger and favored for taking coyote (and maybe whitetail at close range, within thick brush). Whereas 00 buck is usually loaded eight or nine pellets to a 2-3/4” hull, smaller #4 buck fits 24 pellets in the same shell.
