This magnum 12 Gauge load is a great way to make a big impact. At three and a half inches long it’s able to hold a whopping 18 pellets of 00 buck. That’s over 900 grains of lead, which when traveling at 1,125 fps can take down a buck or take care of a home invasion mighty fast. Remington has loaded this shot with special granulated polymer buffering, which protects it against deformation to benefit accuracy.

Expect some recoil, of course, but not as much as you might think. Remington places heavy cushioning behind this shell’s shot column to help soak up some of that kick. Remington’s green hull makes this shell a little easier to differentiate from the rest of your shotgun loads, and its sure-fire primer, clean burning propellant, and strengthening brass head are also high quality work.
