Here we have the perfect ammo for hunting turkey, pheasant, and other larger upland game birds with a 16 Gauge shotgun. Federal’s Prairie Storm shells pack a lot of extra punch courtesy of their unique shot!

Thirty percent of this shell’s 1-1/8 ounce column of #5 shot is comprised of Federal’s own FliteStopper pellets. They’re oblong instead of round, with sharp little bands girdling their equators. Their edged profile enable FliteStopper pellets to gouge exceptionally lethal wound channels into their target, and coarse feathers are no match for them. The remainder of this shell’s shot pellets have conventional spherical profiles, with extra copper plating to ensure they stay round and maintain a tight pattern.

This shell’s shot patterns even more densely courtesy of its FliteControl wad. Upon exiting the barrel the FliteControl juts out little flaps around its base, stabilizing it in flight to more accurately direct its payload downrange. Loaded to a hot muzzle velocity of 1,425 fps, this shell dumps a lot of effective energy into your prey so you can fill your bag limit faster!
