“Prairie Storm” would make a great name for a country band, but it already belongs to Federal’s exceptional hunting ammunition. This 16 Gauge ammo has devastating effects on game like partridge, grouse, and even turkey thanks to its special FliteStopper shot!

This shell’s column of #6 shot is divided into two types of pellets. Seventy percent are normal round pellets, although they’re additionally copper-plated to preserve their round, streamlined profile. The other 30 percent are FliteStoppers, with raised rings that orbit their centers. Its distinctive profile lets a FliteStopper carve out a wider wound channel than a traditional spherical pellet could manage, which translates to drop-dead terminal performance on any appropriately sized bird species.

Federal’s FliteControl wad extends stabilizing flaps around its base as soon as it is freed from the barrel. These act like the skirt of a shuttlecock to enhance stability and ultimately pattern density. Alongside Federal’s uniform primers and propellant charges, these shells deliver accurate on top of deadly performance.
