Float like a butterfly. Sting like a … hornet? That’s right! Once you’re hunting with the power of Remington Premier AccuTip-V 22 Hornet ammo, you’ll be able to deliver the deadly lead sting to any varmint you can lay your sights on!
Within ranges up to around 150 yards, of course. The 22 Hornet blows any rimfire round out of the water, but it’s still limited compared to bigger boys like the 22-250. This round’s bullet sure isn’t holding it back, though. The AccuTip-V is essentially Remington’s take on the V-MAX, and features a streamlined polymer tip that triggers violent fragmentation upon slamming into the underlying lead core and thin copper jacket.
The 35 grain AccuTip-V also earns the “Accu” in its name. Its 0.109 G1 BC is high enough to preserve about half the bullet’s initial velocity at 200 yards. Striking energy at 100 yards is ~400 ft lbs; 200 yards, ~200 ft lbs; 300 yards, ~100 ft lbs. Works out pretty nicely that way. All that and reloadable brass cases. It’s like hornet Christmas up in here.
