If you’re going varmint hunting or want to get your survival rifle ready for hard times, then you’re going to love Nosler Varmageddon 22 Hornet!

This 22 Hornet round features the polymer tipped Varmageddon bullet. It’s a lightweight at only 35 grains, and its pumped up 3,000 fps muzzle velocity leads to a flat trajectory over shorter ranges. Nosler gave the bullet a flat base because that guarantees greater uniformity than a boat tail. Its polymer tip creates a more ballistically efficient meplat than a broader hollow point.

But the real show starts on impact. That’s when the Varmageddon bullet’s hard tip crushes into its thin jacket rim, sending out a shockwave of energy coupled with violent terminal expansion. The jacket also progressively thickens toward its midsection, which helps keep the bullet undeformed and intact until impact.

Nosler took care to give these rounds’ cases consistent rims, wall thickness and tapers. Each round is equipped with a non-corrosive small rifle primer and is reloadable.
