Its 420 fps muzzle velocity produces next to zero report although without a suppressor the noise of the firearm may still require some hearing protection.

This cartridge achieves such quiet performance because it contains no propellant. Propulsion is provided solely by the round’s rimfire primer. Aguila loads an extremely lightweight 20 grain bullet, which itself is a basic lead round nose. You could theortetically kill a rodent with one of these rounds if you’re trying to do a little low-key pest control, but there's a good chance it won't be a clean kill – even on a chipmunk. You’ll most enjoy using this low-powered ammo for riddling paper targets and knocking cans off the old sawhorse out back.
