This cartridge’s bullet is very light at 24 grains. That’s because it’s made of zinc instead of lead, with a shiny copper-plated exterior that reduces fouling and supports smoother operation in a semi-automatic. Such a light bullet attains a remarkably high 1,706 fps muzzle velocity (25.6” test barrel) without producing excessive chamber pressure as a result. No terminal expansion, but the copper-plated flat nose’s tip gouges a pretty injurious wound channel through soft tissue regardless.

Not hunting? Use this ammo for target practice. It’ll minimize your exposure to harmful gasses at an indoor range, because even its primers are lead-free! Norma has loaded this ammo with aluminum cases in the past, but this particular batch is decked out with conventional brass shells.
