Know what I love about the Golden Boy? It’s heavy. Just a big, beautiful hunk of walnut, brass, and steel that never lets you forget you’re carrying a gun. Take your little plastic plinkers and leave me alone. For me, it’s gotta be the BOY.
And that’s why I love CCI. They understand shooters like me (and you). They looked at themselves and said Hey – what would it be like if we designed the perfect, smooth-cycling 22 LR ammo specifically for the Golden Boy? And now it do be just like that, because CCI makes Henry Golden Boy Edition ammo. In Idaho!
When this round spits its 36 grain bullet out of a Golden Boy’s 20” octagonal tube, the chronograph says “1,260 fps” (or darn close to it). Supersonic. Nice. The bullet is plated to help keep your Boy’s barrel cleaner, and ends in a hollow point to help make your small game deader. Or shoot it at targets, if your Boy is a pacifist!
