Performs like a big-game bullet
Olin-Australia first devlopepd this bullet in the 1970's for the tough Australian jack-rabbits. After importing the original, Winchester dropped the velocity to 1,155
fps for unknown reasons. Currently the velocity has been upped to 1,300 fps, If I could have only one bullet/load in ..22 LR the current Dynapoint is it--excellent
accuracy and remarkable ,big-game bullet like performance on game
Poor Quality Control and Customer Service of Winchester
Out of 700 rounds, over 190 rounds did not fit the barrel of a S&W Victory pistol. The casings were too large to fit and caused a tight jam. The same rounds did not fit in a SigSauer 22. A small Ruger accepted the rounds but this shows that Winchester ammo has serious problems with quality control of their production (note recent recall of lots of 9mm and .38sp center fire lots). The company does not answer their phone and so far has not granted a response to my email on their site. Do not buy even if affordable since you may not be able to use.
These Wildcat LR22s did not fit in my S&W mod17 (K22) revolver, I could put some of the shell part way into the cylinder, but then had to press them in. But now very, very difficult to extract. This was true with most of the box. I exchanged with my shooting buddy for his LR22s (different brand) and they worked great, going in and extracting. I can't recommend these if you have the same revolver.
