This cartridge is loaded with a 40 grain copper-plated solid point projectile. It cannot expand without a nose cavity, but it doesn’t really have to in order to thwack the smallest pest critters. The bullet’s copper plating promotes better accuracy by keeping some lead residue from building up inside your barrel.

This round is loaded to a brisk muzzle velocity of 1,235 fps out of a rifle barrel. A high velocity like that is going to produce a pretty flat trajectory throughout the 22 LR’s whole effective range, not to mention hit a target with a good amount of energy.
