Cascade International was originally established in Mexico by Idaho’s own CCI. While the two operations have since gone their own separate ways, Cascade has remained a busy producer of 22 LR ammo since 1959.

Cascade puts their green camo label on their high velocity ammunition. Without reducing this CPRN bullet’s weight beneath the standard 40 grains, Cascade still loads it to a supersonic 1,250 fps muzzle velocity. Sniping distant cans becomes an easier pastime with this round’s slightly flatter trajectory.

Its copper coating helps prevent this bullet from denting in a semi-auto’s feeding mechanism, and it also keeps more lead residue off of a barrel’s grooves than an all-lead bullet could have. This bullet lacks a hollow point that would have specialized it for hunting, but more than a few squirrels have been defeated by a CPRN bullet.

Cascade didn’t reinvent the wheel when they gave this range 22 LR ammo brass cases, clean burning propellant, and non-corrosive rimfire primers. This is the stuff of fooling around in the backyard on muggy summer afternoons!
