With this 22 LR cartridge from CCI’s Quiet-22 line of ammunition, even the most perceptive varmints aren’t going to know what hit them. They’re barely going to hear you fire it, and they’re sure as heck not going to survive its deadly terminal effect long enough to ponder it!

This round’s 40 grain projectile exits the muzzle at only 710 fps. That’s over 400 fps slower than what it’d take to break the sound barrier, making its report stealthy indeed. You’ll enjoy 75 percent less noise than a standard 22 LR, and as the result won’t even need hearing protection! Just note that this round’s lesser power means you may have to manually cycle your semi-automatic.

This round’s bullet is a segmented hollow point. Rather than stay in one piece as it penetrates its mark, it quickly divides into three separate sections, each of which produces its own separate wound channel. That turns critter vitals into pâté fast, so you’ll never have to worry about the same beastie twice.
