“Aguila” is Spanish for “eagle.” You yourself are just like an eagle: beautiful, majestic, and emblematic of America itself. You and eagles both share a need to hunt varmints as well, but in lieu of wings and talons you’ll need an effective 22 Magnum cartridge.

This round by Aguila features a 40 grain jacketed soft point projectile. Its partial sheathe of gilding metal will prevent deformation during ignition in addition to rapid bore fouling, both features that promote accuracy. With its ballistic coefficient of 0.152 the bullet will need to rise only about one inch when zeroed in at 100 yards, at which distance it still packs 183 ft lbs of energy. This round’s velocity ought to stay supersonic up to 200 yards!

When the bullet plows into a varmint, its exposed core will unleash fast and wide expansion that a small critter can’t help but die in response to. Resist the urge to utter a piercing “SQUAAAAHHH” when you’ve earned your kill.
